Making music since 2018, Toronto based artist by the name of Sean Jones released a new single last Friday. Self produced, catchy, and raw, “Nowhere” will be your new favourite heartbreak song.

In Jones word; It’s weird. I find that after any heartbreak you’re always left with these conflicting feelings that often contradict each other. But to me, “Nowhere” is all about that paradox. (“They tell you to believe, but that won’t stop the bleed. In fact it’s killing me, but I won’t let you see.”). These two lines play on the idea that, it’s the people you need most in your heartbreak, that you keep the furthest from you. While their good will may be what you need, it’s not always what you want, and that can often add to your pain. And on the other side of that. The person at the forefront of your mind, the one who got to know you intimately, is now the one you must keep furthest from you. You’ll find that tension, that conflict present throughout the whole track start to finish.

“Nowhere” may have a sad meaning to the song, but there’s a super catchy beat throughout it that gives the tune some happy vibes. This is only his fifth single, but the pop/alternative/R&B singer should totally be on your list of artists to watch out for.
