Playing well known venues such as the Troubadour and Bedford all under his own name, the UK based artist has decided to rename his solo project. Lewis Speirs, now also known as Picture The Scene just released his debut single today. “Get Out” is a short but sweet tune, that will definitely get you up and on your feet.

Comparable to Foo Fighters, the song explains the realization of the rock artist’s anger and frustration of not respecting your moral responsibility, from the perspective of someone with high power. “Get Out” reminds me of a song that would be playing the background of a 90’s movie, during one of the first scenes, camera rolling through trees in a bright neighbourhood.

The only bad thing about the song is that it’s too short, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It just means that “Get Out” was so good, it left me wanting more, which is why you should keep an eye out for Picture The Scene. All future singles, plus this tune, are building up to the release of a debut EP, near the end of the year.
