Edith Releases “Never Stay Too Long”.
Written by: Sarah Evangelista
You could tell that Edith is a powerhouse for many different reasons, one being that she moved to England from Romania at the age of ten to fulfill her dreams of having a music career. The pop artist is one to watch because of her raw vocal range, her musical talent, and of course, her ambitious attitude.
With a chorus like ‘cause I don't miss you / like you wanted me to miss you, no / turned the tables round / watched you bleeding / played with fire now / watch me leaving, no / I never stay too long’, it’s obvious that the song is telling the story of a heartbreak and how you don’t want them back. Although it has a meaning like that, it’s totally a pop anthem, and not a sad and gloomy tune, which could be compared to Betty Who and Nōva.
Just like Edith’s past releases; “Sad Girls Make Bad Boys Cry” and “I Kinda Liked You”, self empowerment shines through her music, and anyone who needs a little pick me up should give “Never Stay Too Long” a listen.
