I was very familiar with Kings Elliot’s music and bright blue hair before she came on stage. In fact, I was so excited to see her set opening up for Stephen Sanchez’s fans in Montreal.
The Switzerland bred self-proclaimed ‘sick puppy’ and her keyboard player performed a handful of tunes, including favourites of mine “Cry, Baby, Cry”, “‘Till I Die”, and “Call Me A Dreamer”.
As heard in her recorded projects, Elliot’s voice was stunning and she gained everyone’s hearts and attention during her thirty minute set.

The audience’s energy could be felt before Stephen Sanchez and his band stepped onto the stage. They were anticipating a great show, and that is what they received!
Sanchez’s set began with snippets of his songs on the same cue as the artistic lights at the back of the stage, acting like a tape recording being played then paused, and so forth. Of course, it started off with the iconic ‘Georgia’ in “Until I Found You”. This was followed by Sanchez and his team taking the stage.
Throughout their set, songs like “Until I Found You”, “Evangeline”, and “The Pool”. Also, they played their version of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”, which was fantastic.
