Toronto, ON @ HISTORY

100 Gecs and Machine Girl took to the stage of History in Toronto, and it was definitely a show to remember.

Machine Girl

Machine Girl opened with a short but impactful set. The artist was able to quickly hype up the crowd: crowd surfing to the centre, participating in a mosh pit, and then laying down in the middle of the venue floor because...well why not! Machine Girl’s fan engagement was truly special, and memorable to say the least.

Following Machine Girl, 100 Gecs headlined and were able to further transcend the energy that had already been created in the room. From their unique sounds to bright light displays, it was obvious that the duo was having fun, and the energy really translated to everyone in the room.

While waiting to photograph the show I had a chance to speak to a few fans behind the barricade; according to one couple, fans had camped outside the venue over 8 hours prior to showtime to secure their front row spot. If that's not dedication I’m not sure what is.

You can catch 100 Gecs and Machine Girl on the 10000 Gecs Tour 2, now!
