Scott Helman delivers yet another solid single in the form of “Pretty”.
The lowkey pop track shows Helman laying out his insecurities and wishing he could be as pretty as someone else in his life he admires. Throughout the chorus, he sings ‘I just wanna look pretty like you do’, creating a unique concept of a song that doubles as one about personal insecurities as well being a love song. Overall, it has a chill atmosphere about it, with Helman’s soft but sweet vocals coming out on this track. However, it’s still insanely catchy and will get stuck in your head immediately after you finish your first listen. With creative lyrics, an earworm of a chorus, and an overall relatable message, Scott Helman once again proves that he knows exactly how to create a fantastic pop song.
