Genre-bending artist Sven Gamsky, also known as his stage name, Still Woozy, sends listeners into a groovy yet psychedelic trance with his latest single, “Rocky.”
Fans have been waiting for this electronic/acoustic artist to release more content following his single, “BS,” in September 2020 and his recent cover of MGMT’s “Electric Feel,” and he surely does not disappoint with “Rocky.” Dreamy vocals mixed with crisp percussion and futuristic synths mesh together, creating an oh-so-perfect blend of chill and funky. If you’re looking for catchy instrumentals to dance to or just to close your eyes and vibe to, this is the track for you.
The lyrics go hand-in-hand with the music. Still Woozy sings, “I don’t know if I’m awake or I’m dead,” and the chorus echoes “dream” and “caught up in between” in various harmonies, further conveying a trance-like state. The singer truly delivers a unique experience, exploring a blurred line between reality and fantasy.
