Yung Gravy Plays Lollapalooza Aftershow

Lollapalooza is notably one of Chicago's most known music festivals. Bringing people from all walks of life together for four days, to celebrate their favorite music with artists from every genre. The aftershows bring those same music lovers out for intimate shows with their favorite artists. On the night of August 4th, fans got to enjoy an electric show from Yung Gravy and DJ Tiiiiiiiiiip at one of Chicago's most notorious live music venues - The House of Blues.

It was a sold out show, the venue was packed. Fans crowded as they tried to get the best view of the stage. DJ Tiiiiiiiiiip came out and pumped up the crowd as they anxiously awaited Yung Gravy's arrival. He played snippets of music, ranging from the 80s to current. The crowd roared and as they jumped, you could feel the energy through the floor of the House of Blues. One of the songs DJ Tiiiiiiiiiip got the biggest reaction from was a mix of Shania Twain's “Man! I Feel Like a Woman”. In between songs, DJ Tiiiiiiiiiip threw snack cakes to the crowd and fans had an absolute blast trying to catch them. After his final box of cakes, the crowd knew they were getting closer to seeing Yung Gravy.

As the lights went down, music began to play, and the energy picked up. The crowd cheered and chanted as Yung Gravy emerged from the darkness. The crowd went wild. He started his set  with "oops!". You could feel the music through your body and the floor shake, as fans danced and jumped along with him. 

Yung Gravy has a vivacious stage presence. It was incredible to see that every song he performed, the crowd matched his energy. This made for a night that not only fans but Yung Gravy himself wouldn’t forget. Following his opening act, he played a plethora of songs, new and old. "Gravy Train", "Mr. Clean", and collabs he's done with bbno$, such as "Welcome to Chilis" and their newest hit "You Need Jesus" were on the set list.

Finishing out the show was "Betty (Get Money)", one of his most well known songs. You could see and feel how much fans loved this aftershow. Many left The House of Blues with smiles on their faces.
