Since his last stop in Montreal, ROLE MODEL gained more recognition for his lover boy pop persona and this caused for a sold out show at MTELUS.
After a stellar opening slot from Debbii Dawson, the crowd waited for Tucker Pillsbury (ROLE MODEL) with the comfort of songs from pop princess’ Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, and Olivia Rodrigo. Fans referred to this moment as a second opener, singing and dancing along to their hits. Then the lights went dim…
Posters made for ROLE MODEL and hands went up into the air as “Writing’s on the Wall” started to play, and screeches followed. He and his band played songs from his latest release Kansas Anymore and “blind” from 2020’s our little angel EP. Throughout the night, Pillsbury would introduce himself as Maroon 5, Tate McRae, and other artists which was hilarious.
ROLE MODEL will always be met with love in Montreal.
