Zensei ゼンセー, an Asian-Canadian music producer, has gained recognition in the music industry for his distinct style and proficiency with multiple instruments. Raised by a musician father, zensei was exposed to music from an early age and quickly developed a passion for playing various instruments such as guitar, bass, piano, and drums. In his teenage years, he became enamored with lo-fi music and began to experiment with different sounds and techniques to create his own unique style. zensei's music is strongly influenced by his Asian heritage and multicultural upbringing, often featuring intricate guitar melodies, dreamy piano chords, and smooth beats with hip hop elements. His tracks are widely regarded as soothing and introspective and his new album titled Destination Heartbreak is no exception. Released under Monstercat Records, it takes listeners on a low-fi leaning raw and honest trip through the ups and downs of love.
