The Tenors Make Their Massey Hall Debut, a Show to Remember.

What’s the perfect gift to give on Mother’s Day - how about a night out with The Tenors.

With live music back, Massey Hall was filled on May 8, with excited energy from families and their mothers waiting to watch the hit Canadian trio take the stage.

As the lights dimmed and the orchestra's melody filled the room, the audience could be seen moving around in their seats trying to see singers, Victor Micallef, Clifton Murray and Fraser Walters walk onto the stage for the night.

To the crowd's surprise, the trio emerged from the darkness of the venue's entrance, making their way down the aisle and stopping to sing for their families. Many of whom had traveled to make it to the show.

After their first song, which was an amazingly planned mash-up of multiple hits, the venue was bursting with love and music, as well as, crying fans and dancing mothers.

Once the group took the stage and had the chance to soak in their first of many standing ovations from the crowd, The Tenors used their perfect harmonies and amazing sense of humour to bring Massey Hall alive and feel like a second home for everyone that night.

The night wasn’t all music though, the singers made time in between each song to engage with the audience and keep the lively mood going throughout the night. From sharing heartfelt stories about their lives and saying their thank you's to all mothers everywhere, to having a pitch contest with an opera singer ,who happened to be in the crowd, the night was filled with unexpected surprises.

One surprise that took the Hall by storm was when Walters’ wife, Kelly Levesque, joined the group to not only sing a beautiful rendition of “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, as well as, an incredible solo rendition of “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” by Aretha Franklin. The couple also announced that they are expecting their third child.

From their starting note to the long-lasting standing ovation the group received at the end of their set, it is safe to say that not only was The Tenors Massey Hall debut a success, but also a Mother’s Day that families and friends will remember forever.
