Splendour XR:The Big Festival Played at Home.

With summer festivals not being a regular thing lately, I was beyond excited to hear about Splendour XR.

For those who don’t know, Splendour XR is a virtual music festival that happened on July 24 and 25th. The event had a handful of stages, and over 50 performers. The only difference was that you didn’t have to run stage to stage, trying not to miss the artists on your watch list - you were able to watch from home, and switch stage by the click of a button.

With headlining performances by Chvrches, Khalid, The Killers, Denzel Curry, Charli XCX, and Grimes, the audience was in for a treat, and it was so much fun.

With the time difference, some sets were playing in the early morning hours, so I did have to watch them later than the live time, but other than that, it was amazing!

Can’t wait for next year’s Splendour! (Hopefully in person)
