Based in Nashville, Pope released his debut EP Closer last February and hasn’t quit on his craft since. His latest “Shining” is a soft, yet heart-wrenching track that will leave you wanting more. It starts off with a gritty and catchy guitar riff, quickly followed by Pope’s honest words; ‘you know I hate myself for the way I am, and I’m saying things no one could understand’. The beat is sometimes glitched, continued with a drum, and more of an anthemic bridge.
The pure diary-like lyrics and his way of getting his emotions through people’s ear is just what makes Noah Pope a shining star.
