Nicknames Releases ‘Oh, What A Time To Be “Alive”’.

A few days ago, Nicknames released his debut EP, Oh, What A Time To Be “Alive”. NYC based singer/songwriter/producer, by the name of Max Strite formed a collection of four tracks touching on how weird the world has become lately. The project features frequent collaborator Royce Fisherman, and a fresh one such as JeremiahThe5th.
Although we just recently discovered Nicknames, we are even more excited for what’s to come next from him.
“‘Oh what a time to be alive.’ “[The title] is meant to use that phrase in an ironic way, things like The Metaverse continue to detach us more and more from reality. That was the inspiration for the cover: different versions of myself distracted by an oculus rift and not living in the real world. Then a version of myself, staring straight at the camera with everything around it blurred.” ”
