We’ve found her for you. Mallory Merk is your new favourite pop princess.
With her music, she isn’t afraid to say what’s on her mind, she writes about her experiences without sugarcoating them or victimizing herself. This is personally one of my favourite things about Mallory.
Her newest track, “evol”, starts off with a guitar riff and followed with Mallory’s captivating vocals.
With lyrics like ‘I don't really want to write another love song / Just to get played by the ones who only get played on’, the song speaks of the annoyance of fake love, or toxic relationships, which could explain the song title being “love” spelt backwards.
The catchy melody will get caught in your head, and will remind you not to bother with players. Keep your eyes out for Mallory Merk, and her forthcoming EP. She’ll be taking over the world sooner than you think.
