Lauv Talks ‘All 4 Nothing’.

Listening to Lauv’s music is exactly like reading pages from his journal. Although, his newest album is the most from him authentic yet. All 4 Nothing touches on growing up, mental health, and everything in between.

We attended his press conference presented by 1824 a bit before the album release, and heard about his creative process and stories about his sophomore album.

I took more of a kind of zoomed out approach, where I was focused more on the songwriting, singing, and writing. I had a few friends of mine, whom I really trust as producers that brought in some new sounds. Especially on songs like “Bad Trip” and “I (Don’t) Have A Problem”... There’s no Lauv song that sounds like that.

A lot of experimenting came along with the process of making Ari’s sophomore album. Both of the tracks mentioned above have the same powerful beats, that just make you want to be at the back of the pit dancing without a care in the world.

Speaking of dancing in the pit during one of Lauv’s headline shows, the All 4 Nothing tour starts tomorrow. Take a look at the dates below + buy tickets here.
