What made you want to get into music?

Honestly, I don't think there was ever a time I had to decide. It's all I really knew growing up. I was surrounded by music 24/7, whether it was from school, church, family, it was the only thing I really did or was good at.

Favorite musical memory?

Oooh might be performing on stage with Foreigner in high school or wehn my college a cappella group went viral and I watched it change lives worldwide!

What was it like starting out in such a competitive industry? And What advice do you have for up and coming artists? Hmm, I never really thought of the industry as competitive. A) because I know my worth and that I deserve to be here, and B) because music is so fluid and expansive, there's so many different sounds, emotions, visuals that you can bring into the space. Plus, we all take inspiration from somebody/each other.

How do you find inspiration for your songs?

I find inspiration from experiences and my emotions. I'm a very emotional individual and songwriting is an amazing outlet to process those emotions.

You recently released a remix of your song “Anyone”, how are you feeling about that release?!

Feeling good! It's making mini waves over on TikTok, over 100 videos of my sound, it's been super fun to interact with all the different creators and watch people get really creative with it.

What was it like posting on tiktok for the first time?

Did you expect to gain the attention and following that you did? I don't really have a following on TikTok, but I have been posting since it switched from Musically. I wasn't a Musically fan, but I 1000000% am a TikTok fan. It's really fun to conceptualize ideas around releases on TikTok and see how they take off and who you meet (like you guys!)

From your first song to now releasing this single, have you seen your music evolve throughout the years? And What's one main thing that's changed?

Well my first official release under L E A (with the spaces) was "Stay Right" I feel like Stay Right really embodies the music I was digging back in 2016. And it was the start of a long journey and future growth in this industry. My favorite memory from that tune was singing it with a children's choir and signing autographs for them. I feel like I've grown so much since then, but that moment was so special! As for my sound evolving, I definitely went from Indie Pop to more modern Pop Rock and I'm thrilled about it!

Do you have any future projects that you could tell us about or hint at?

I'm releasing a collab track with the amazing producer and songwriter, Ava King, on May 21st! Aside from that, I will strongly hint at a big project this summer ;)

If you could describe yourself in 3 words and your music in 3 words what would they be and why?

Colorful, extroverted, blunt.

Who would your ideal collaboration be with and why?

After that little hint towards a summer project, definitely Charlotte Sands.

What’s your favourite song at the moment?

I literally can't stop listening to "Story Of A Love Song" by Games We Play

Our website is all about up and coming artists, are there any you have your eyes on right now?

Keep an eye on Jordan Fox, he's about to release something I can't get out of my head!
