This song instantly sucks you in as you hear the opening melody of this song, and it instantly feels like a more serene psychedelic/disco style. The intricate combination of instrumentals and vocals and symbolic lyrics are irresistible, with a music video to match.

Howlin’ Circus tends to “put their passion and vulnerability at the heart of their rock and roll,” which completely comes out throughout this track. Typically, the endless repetition of the simple chorus at the end of a song strikes me as very clicheé and overdone, however in this song it just adds to the dept of the symbolism, and provides a very smooth ending to the song.

The warm and inciting music juxtaposed by lyrics discussing concepts of loneliness and struggle really comes through in a video following the paths of two people and how they intersect at many points throughout the visual. Goes to show the way that humans fight to find connection and the lengths to which they go to find it, and how loneliness causes people to do things which are completely uncalled for.
